Approximately two years after the birth of our first daughter, Janet Damaris, we left our home church in Aschaffenburg, the Baptisten Gemeinde, and our mission board, Kontaktmission, for Lithuania. During the first three years we lived in Kaunas and learned the Lithuanian language and got acquainted with the culture. We invested our time into the church there. From time to time, the Lord laid another city on our hearts: Alytus. After prayer and several conversations, we moved to Alytus in October 2006. In the meantime, we have settle in and would like to make contact with through various events/activities. Thank you for your prayers.

 

My name is Milda Saudargaitė and grew up in Šilutė, a small town on the East Sea. Before my trip to Germany as governess for one year, I came to faith in the Lord. Since then, I have had a desire to tell others about the hope in me. I am a member of a church in Šilutė, where I was actively involved in the children's and youth ministries. During that time I wanted to learn more about God's Word. For that reason I decided to study at a weekend Bible College in Šiauliai. In September of 2007 I will start my second of six years of study. During the last year, my desire to serve the Lord full-time grew. Now I work with Marian and Maria in planting the church here in Alytus. Thank you for your prayers.
